Gates Automotive named AAA's "Top Shop" | Business

A local automotive center is getting top honors. Gates Automotive Center was awarded AAA's "Top Shop" for 2010 in both the auto service and auto body repair categories. They were one of 11 eleven engine repair shops and four collision shops in the Rochester area to be called a "Top Shop." This is also the fifth consecutive year Gates Automotive Center has made both lists.

AAA uses the Top Shop system to recognize high customer satisfaction among their Approved Auto Repair (AAR) and Auto Body Repair facilities. Between September 2009 and August 2010, AAA reviewed service evaluation cards received from customers who had work completed at those facilities. Top Shop honors are awarded to those with the highest ratings.

In addition to having high customer satisfaction ratings, Gates Automotive Center must meet AAA’s stringent criteria for approved auto repair and auto body repair facilities to be named a Top Shop. These include a guarantee of the effectiveness of repairs, knowledgeable reception personnel and a formal training system for technicians.
