Annual 5K to be held on Saturday in memory of Churchville Chili High School student | Community Service

The 7th Annual Daniel's 5k Run will be held on Saturday.

The run will start at 9:00 am and takes place at Churchville Chili Middle School on Fairbanks Road in Churchville.

Daniel Myslivecek was a student at Churchville Chili High School. He passed away in the summer of 2006 after battling Melonoma for 3 years. Daniel's 5K Race was created by Daniel's friends and family in the spring of 2006 to help his family with ongoing medical costs. Daniel even ran in the race himself that year.

Daniel's 5k Race continues to help others and remains as a tribute to the memory of Daniel.  All proceeds from this years event will be going to Make a Wish Foundation, Metro N.Y. and Western N.Y. Chapter.
